Ingredients for 4 people
4 medium tomatoes thickly sliced
250g fresh Mozzarella thickly sliced (you can use either Mozzarella Fior di Latte or Mozzarella di Bufala)
12-14 fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Layer alternating slices of tomatoes and mozzarella, adding a basil leaf between each, on a large, shallow platter. Drizzle the salad with extra-virgin olive oil and season with salt.
