Friselle - classic or whole wheat - 400gr
Friselle are typical from Puglia, in the South of Italy. Round and crunchy, they are the perfect base for tomatoes, olive oil and stracciatella.
Friselle from "La bottega degli antichi sapori" are baked in a traditional wooden fire oven.
Friselle CLASSIC - Ingredients: semolina wheat flour, water, natural yeast, salt, active dry yeast.
Friselle WHOLE WHEAT - Ingredients: whole wheat flour 90%, water, natural yeast, salt, active dry yeast.
Put a "frisella" in a bowl full of water for 15 seconds. Put it on a plate and cut some tomatoes in small cubes. Put the tomatoes on the frisella, add salt, pepper and olive oil. If you want, you can also complete the frisella with a bit of stracciatella on top. Enjoy with a glass of wine and you have the perfect summer dinner!
