Mozzarella di bufala DOP - 125 or 250 gr
Mozzarella di Bufala is made with buffalo milk and it is a fresh, soft, semi-elastic textured cheese belonging to the "pasta filata" family. It has a mild yet slightly sour taste and a soft, moist texture.
Ingredients: pasteurized buffalo milk, natural whey, salt, rennet.
Producer: Fattorie Garofalo DOP - Denominazione di Origine Protetta (“Protected Designation of Origin”).
Make sure you take the Mozzarella out from the fridge 15-20 minutes before eating and put it, still inside the bag, in a bowl with warm water (not too cold, not too hot). At room temperature you will be able to fully taste its creamy freshness.
Mozzarella di Bufala is always divine! Super tasty on its own or just with some drops of olive oil. Amazing as appetizer, on pizza, in salads, with vegetables, salami, raw ham or pasta.
