Parmigiano Reggiano DOP / 22 or 30 months
Parmigiano Reggiano is one of the most famous Italian cheese in the world. It has a hard, gritty texture and its taste is fruity and nutty. Parmareggio is aged for 22 or 30 months and is DOP - Denominazione di Origine Protetta (literally “Protected Designation of Origin”).
Ingredients: unpasteurized cow's milk, salt, rennet.
Perfect on its own as snack or appetizer. Also grated or cut in chips over pasta, in soup or risotto.
