Scamorza affumicata - 300 gr
Scamorza Affumicata is the smoked variant of the classic Scamorza, made by smoking the cheese over flaming straw for around 10 to 15 minutes. It is made from cow milk and it belongs to the "pasta filata" family. It is a semi-soft cheese with an elastic texture. Compared to the classic Scamorza, it has a smoky flavour with a sweet and light caramel note.
Ingredients: pasteurized cow's milk, salt, rennet, lactic cultures, acidity regulator: lactic acid. Smoked with beech wood chips.
Due to its excellent melting qualities, Smoked Scamorza is often used as a substitute for Mozzarella in baking dishes. It is also great as appetizer on its own, on pizza, in salads, with vegetables or pasta.
